Three NYC-Based Jewelry Brands to Support Now

Catbird NYC

Catbird was founded in Brooklyn, NY in 2004 and stepped on the scene as the go-to for beautiful, minimalist designs. Catbird works closely with designers, develops their own in-house line and all of their jewelry is made of recycled or fair-trade gold using conflict-free stones.

Founder Rony Vardi was determined to include a charitable aspect to her business, even when it was not yet profitable. She established The Catbird Foundation to give back to causes that support equality and helping others; as a women-led business, an organization that supports women are at the top of her list. To date, Catbird has donated almost $300,000 to a variety of non-profit organizations including GirlUp, Women to Women and Planned Parenthood.
